Globaly recognized as the most important figure of the civil rights movement, Martin Luther King Jr. known for executing nonviolent protests, to name a few;

"I Have a Dream" his iconic speech was delivered during this event at Washinton. In 1964 Martin Luther King Jr. Who was also a Baptist minister won the Nobel peace prize. He became the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Martin was just 35 years old then.
The civil rights leader, during his life time was Imprisoned for 30 times. Most of the times they all were unreasonable. While he was in jail in Birmingham he wrote in one of his letters. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
On a April 4th in the 1968 Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered by James Earl Ray. Martin was standing on the second floor of Lorraine Motel. Martin was only 39 years old.
Martin's wife and his fellow civil rights activist Coretta Scott King took the lead on his path in search of justice. They achived great by founding Atlanta's Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (widly known as the King Center).
